How to Build your Homeschool Tribe?

It takes a village to raise a child. Now imagine homeschooling that child. You definitely want to be intentional when building a tribe that will support you and encourage you. Today I am sharing my tips on how to build your homeschool tribe.

First step, is when you join a homeschool group, get involved. Just like you would get involved at your child's school you do that here. On Facebook, introduce yourself and your kids and ask if anyone would like to meet up at a local park or place, to see if your family is a good fit for them.

Second step, nurture that relationship by exchanging phone numbers and meet up regularly. If you feel like y'all are a good fit keep it going and slowly add more families to your tribe. If it does not work don't feel bad and move on.

Third step, keep trying until you build your tribe don't get discouraged. Sometimes it takes a while but at the end it will be worth it. It's better to do homeschooling in fellowship than not.

Don't isolate yourself get plugged in community. the friendships you will make are encouraging and fun. You're going to wish you did it with other families than on your own.
