The Psychology of Wealth Book Review

I love quotes, I even created a journal specifically to note down all my favorite quotes. Quotes that inspire me, motivate me, that stir up feelings inside. The Psychology of Wealth Book had really good quotes. I added more from this book into my quote notebook.

My favorite quote was, "Don't ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive."-Harold Thurman Whitman

When I think about wealth, the first thing that pops into my mind is being debt free and have enough money to buy what I want when I want it. But this book made think about wealth completely different than my original thought.

I'll share what made me change my thoughts on wealth, "I have a friend who has a great family. he makes descent money, but he is very rich in family. He has a great wife; he has twin daughters; he has two great sons. You couldn't buy what he has with any amount of money. The really important things you simply can't buy." WOW!!! When I read that I thought YES! That will be infinity times better than anything I can wish for because for me family is the most important thing.

Yes I want my original meaning of wealth but if I had to put it in priorities this story definitely puts things into perspective.

" There are people who are wealthy, in family, or wealthy in love, or wealthy in friendships. Others have great health."

If you were to define the word wealth right now, which words will you use?
